So Many of my friends asked howdid i inserted pics in status. Again thanks to new orkut.
To do so first select you desired image(only jpg). Big images are usually not supported and if even accepted, it will be partially hidden. so go for small rectanglur ones.
Now orkut status can only be updated by images that are available some where in orkut. like your album, your friends album.
1) Switch to new orkut and upload your image(jpg only) in your public album.(album whose privacy is set to public.)
2) now don't open the image just Right click on the thumbnail view (where all pics of album are placed) of your photo and copy image url. paste the code in notepad or simmilar text editors.
3) your link should look like this http://img3.orkut.com/images/milieu/1290236368/1296368479439/621823269/gq/Zhx9b10.jpg?ver=1296368481
4) now copy the part starting from number to .jpg (here 1290236368/1296368479439/621823269/gq/Zhx9b10.jpg)
5) paste the copied part after this http://img1.orkut.com/img/smiley/images/milieu/ . It should look like this http://img1.orkut.com/img/smiley/images/milieu/1290236368/1296368479439/621823269/gq/Zhx9b10.jpg . 6)copy the final code created in step 5 and paste it in your status. Press enter, type the confirmation capache code by orkut. You are done. yes i know you can't see the pic just some code crap. you will see it in a minute.
7) switch to old orkut. so here is you image. now your image is visible in status of both new and old orkut.
